Rev. Roy was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is the youngest of five children born to the late Reese and Johnnie Mae. He formerly served at Union Chapel UMC in Marietta, GA as the Youth Minister and President of the United Methodist Men while assisting the pastor in all forms of pastoral duties. He served there for seven years until later appointed as Pastor of Wesley Chapel UMC in Elberton, GA and served there for four years. He now serves as Pastor of St. Luke UMC in Mableton, GA.  He is married to and supported by his loving wife, Constance Moore and their children.

His vision is to share the good news of the gospel to all and to see the least, lost, and left out to be restored back into fellowship with God.  Roy is now a Preacher of the Gospel and a dynamic teacher of God’s Word. He has a unique passion for the needs of others and a very sincere motivation to save the lost. His motivation helps people to live out their faith through the encouragement of God’s Word.
